This book takes place on a 24 hour trip to London. Hadley Sullivan is heading to England to see her father get remarried to a women she really doesn't know. At the Airport she meets a man, Oliver, who is heading back home to England. They meet by chance and start to get to know each other. Lets just say, I was swooning multiple times while reading this book. Rating: 4.5 of 5.
This book simple just made me happy. It's not some english classic, but it is the perfect get away for a few hours. It's a super quick read that leaves you wanting more. When you are in the mood for a super teen girly book, that is still written well, with relatable characters that don't get on your nerves, than read this book!
Character Breakdown: Hadley. I thought she was a great character. At the beginning of the book I felt like she complained a lot, but it just sets up the story. In the short amount of time you follow her, she lets you in and allows you to discover her.
Oliver. Perfect! I loved how he was smart and witty. He wasn't your typical bad boy vampire warrior type. He constantly made me smile and I missed him in the parts he wasn't there. He is awesome!
Now, don't let the title stop you. I am not a huge fan of Romeo and Juliet love at first sight falling in love with all your soul stories. No. This is not like that. The characters build and grow and your dying to find out what happens. This is a book I will come back to over and over again!
